  • Shift Details:
  • + 12hrs 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM + 36 hours, work week

L&D Duties & Responsibilities:
  • + Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period, including monitoring maternal and fetal conditions.

+ Assist physicians and healthcare providers with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, procedures, and management of obstetric emergencies.

+ Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered, while monitoring patient response and changes in condition.

+ Provide immediate newborn care and monitoring following delivery, as needed.

+ Educate and support patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.

+ Maintain accurate patient documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely, and quality patient care.

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • + Must have current licensure with the CA Board of Registered Nursing + Bachelor's Degree in Nursing + BLS and ACLS + Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years + Five (5) plus years of recent experience (must have occurred within the last two (2) years) in Labor and Delivery is preferred + One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years + High Risk OB experience preferred + Additional certifications may be required + Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
