We partner with physicians and specialty pharmacy teams to expand access to advanced therapies across multiple communities. We are seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse (RN) operating as an independent contractor to support infusion services across medical offices and patients' homes in the LA area. This role is ideal for a versatile nurse who values schedule flexibility, clinical autonomy, and variety in care settings, while delivering meaningful, high-touch patient care in a growing infusion program. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee role. The nurse will work with a high degree of professional independence, manage their own availability, and provide services on a per-assignment basis. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits. Contractors are subject to credentialing review and background screening as a condition of engagement. There is potential for increased hours as patient volume grows across office and home infusion settings. Services are governed by a separate independent contractor agreement, which must be executed prior to assignment. Role Summary The Per Diem Infusion Nurse will provide direct infusion therapy services for patients receiving specialty medications. The nurse will perform assessments, administer therapies, monitor patients during treatment, and ensure accurate documentation while working collaboratively with the broader clinical team. This role requires strong infusion experience, excellent IV skills, and comfort operating in a low volume startup environment. The nurse will need to participate in 8-16 hours of company training prior to their first visit. We are currently looking for coverage in Santa Barbara, Oxnard, Sherman Oaks, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, and Fullerton. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-infusion patient assessments and verify treatment readiness Safely prepare and administer intravenous and subcutaneous biologic infusion therapies per protocol such as IVIG Manage multiple concurrent infusion therapies and patients across the treatment schedule Monitor patients throughout treatment, including vital signs, point of care blood glucose testing, and HCG testing as applicable Recognize and respond to adverse events and infusion reactions promptly Perform weight-based dosing calculations as required Educate patients on their disease state, treatment plan, and specialty products Document all infusion encounters accurately in WeInfuse and other electronic systems Maintain close communication with providers, pharmacy, and operations teams via electronic and verbal channels Ensure appropriate supply utilization and report inventory needs Travel within assigned territory to provide patient care as needed Provide compassionate, patient-focused care during all encounters Qualifications Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice BLS Certification required ACLS or CRNI certification preferred Minimum 2 to 3 years infusion nursing experience preferred Strong peripheral IV skills required Spanish- speaking preferred.
