Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN licensure Previous school nursing experience preferred Prior experience with seizure protocols and emergency management Comfortable working 1:1 with elementary-aged students Ability to accompany students on daily bus rides Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written BLS certification required
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled 1:1 nursing care for an elementary student during the school day and bus ride, including seizure monitoring and intervention Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe, supportive learning environment Document care provided, maintain health records, and participate in IEP/504 meetings as needed Train staff on emergency response protocols and health plans if required
