Scheduled Hours:
40 hours/week Duties Prepare patients before surgery (pre-op assessment). Verify patient history, allergies, medications, and consent forms. Start IVs and administer medications. Monitor patients during the pre-op and post-anesthesia recovery phases (depending on assignment). Educate patients and families about the procedure and discharge instructions. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians. Monitor for complications and respond to emergencies Requirements Active California RN License. BLS (Basic Life Support). ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - AHA or American Red Cross. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA or American Red Cross. 2 years experience required.
