Key Skills and Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential in California Experience providing care in educational or pediatric settings preferred Strong assessment, triage, and emergency response skills Ability to handle confidential information and documentation according to state and federal regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for interaction with students, staff, and families Current CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities:

Administer first aid, illness care, and medication to students in compliance with healthcare plans Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with chronic or complex conditions Support health screenings, immunization compliance, and communicable disease monitoring Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and health safety practices Maintain accurate records and report health-related concerns to appropriate parties Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to promote student health and participation Provide crisis intervention and participate in school emergency preparedness This contract role offers a pay rate of $50+/hour, reflecting your professional skills and critical role within the school community.
