Need RN's in these counties. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced EMR/EHR systems such as HospiceMD. Administer medications, catheterizations, and other methods following aseptic techniques, agency and Joint Commission protocols. Manage complex care procedures including wound care in accordance with best practices. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing and utilizing medical imaging tools when necessary. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation for legal and billing purposes using EMR/EHR system HospiceMD. Provide patient education on health coaching topics such as medication management, pain control strategies, geriatrics care, or behavioral health support. Experience Proven 1 year experience working hospice patients. Demonstrated proficiency with critical care procedures including airway management, medicine protocols, and infection control practices. Familiarity with specialized fields such as cardiology, hospice & palliative medicine, or occupational health is highly desirable. Experience working with diverse patient populations including individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, dementia or Alzheimer's disease patients. Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures, and familiarity with laboratory testing processes enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive nursing services. Prior roles involving home & community care experience or post-acute settings such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities will be considered an asset. Strong understanding of medical terminology along with excellent patient assessment skills to identify acute pain issues or infectious disease symptoms promptly.
