A dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified School Nurse (CSN) is sought to support K-12 students at a location near San Juan Bautista, CA, for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This is a full-time contract position, offering the chance to work alongside educators and families, ensuring a safe and healthy school environment.

What Youll Need:

Active California RN license or CSN certification Previous experience working with children or within school settings is preferred Ability to manage a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school students Strong communication, organizational, and assessment skills Knowledge of chronic disease management, medication administration, and emergency care protocols Commitment to upholding student confidentiality and school health policies

Your Responsibilities:

Administer daily and emergency nursing care for students Conduct health screenings, such as vision, hearing, and immunization compliance Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop student health plans Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Educate students and staff on health-related matters and wellness initiatives Respond promptly to health concerns and incidents on campus
