1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager with a CA RN license and 2+ years of case management/UR experience for a day-shift float position. Details Case Management department in an acute hospital setting Float position covering other units with case management needs Day shift, 4x10 hours (Mon-Fri), 7:00 AM-5:30 PM No weekend requirements No on-call responsibilities Uses Epic charting system Business casual attire required Requirements Active CA RN license required BSN required Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of case management/utilization review experience required Epic charting experience required Prior travel assignment experience required Additional Information Responsibilities include admission criteria review, care coordination, discharge planning, concurrent and continued stay reviews, and utilization review May involve appeals and denials, pre-cert review, prior authorizations, and retrospective review Utilizes InterQual and Milliman guidelines to determine medical necessity Familiarity with CMS regulatory requirements is beneficial Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Recommended to keep RTO under 7 days per assignment where possible
