Youll play a key role in meeting the daily health needs of students and staff, collaborating with educators and families, and fostering a safe, supportive environment. This contract opportunity begins immediately and extends through the end of the 2026/2027 school year, ensuring stability and the chance to build meaningful connections. You'll support approximately 1,000 students, balancing clinical care and proactive health education.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license and BSN required California School Nurse (CSN) credential (or willingness to obtain) Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and assessment skills Ability to work independently while supporting multiple sites Compassionate, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

Administer first aid, medication, and treatments as needed Maintain health records and manage student care plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on student health concerns Communicate effectively with families, staff, and healthcare providers Lead health education initiatives and promote wellness programs Address emergent health situations promptly and effectively Why consider this role?
