Job Description Job Description Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Pediatric ICU Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in San Francisco, California. This is a full-time, 6-month contract assignment at a children's hospital.

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to provide high-acuity care in both the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and the Pediatric Transitional Care Unit (TCUP) at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. This role involves direct patient care in a hospital setting, working 12-hour shifts with no call responsibilities.

PICU Days (Mon-Fri): 5:1

PICU Weekends:

7:1

PICU Nights:

10:1

TCUP Days:

5-8:1

TCUP Nights:

16:1

Key Responsibilities:

Manage pediatric patients with moderate to critical conditionsProvide acute interventions, respiratory support management, and post-transplant careCollaborate with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teamsDocument clinical assessments and care plans accurately in EPICParticipate in signout rounds and team communications

Requirements:

Active California NP or PA licensePediatric Advanced Practice Certification preferredMinimum of two (2) years of PICU or Pediatric Critical Care experienceCurrent BLS and PALS certificationsExperience with high-acuity pediatric populations strongly preferredAbility to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
