Adventist Health is seeking an RN Nurse Lead to guide compassionate, whole-person care in our faith-based, nonprofit health system. In this role, you will provide direct bedside nursing while coordinating daily unit operations, staffing, and patient flow. You will mentor nurses and CNAs, support evidence-based practice, and champion quality, safety, and infection-prevention standards. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you'll ensure timely assessments, care planning, and education for patients and families, while modeling Christian values of service, respect, and teamwork. Responsibilities Provide and coordinate direct patient care following Adventist Health clinical and faith-based standards. Serve as shift lead, overseeing patient assignments, staffing, and workflow efficiency. Mentor and support nurses and CNAs through coaching, teaching, and role modeling best practices. Monitor patient status, perform assessments, and collaborate with providers on care plans. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and infection-prevention protocols. Communicate with patients and families, providing education and emotional support. Partner with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions of care and discharge planning. Support orientation of new staff and participation in unit-based quality initiatives.
