Aspen Valley Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse / Department Educator to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while leading clinical education for the department. In this on-site role, you'll deliver direct patient care, coordinate individualized care plans, and collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team. You'll design and deliver staff education, support onboarding and competencies, and champion quality, safety, and best practices in our close-knit, community-focused hospital. Responsibilities Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Serve as department educator, developing and updating clinical education programs. Onboard and precept new nurses and support ongoing staff competency. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulations. Use electronic health records to document assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge plans. Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and best-practice initiatives. Support a patient-first, community-focused culture and mentor clinical staff.
