Full Job Description Role Overview:

This position provides direct patient care in the NICU Neonatal Care unit, utilizing advanced nursing practices within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional outcomes. It involves prioritizing patient wellness, safety, and evidence-based practice, while mentoring new staff and contributing to a secure clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-level nursing care based on the nursing process and standards. Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Support ongoing education and competency validation for clinical staff. Adhere to practice standards such as AWHONN and AACN guidelines, including certifications like RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, and CCRN. Maintain safety and quality at the point of care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (less than 3 years' experience) or equivalent. Current RN licensure and relevant certifications. Minimum six months of Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program. Valid BLS/CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross. Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
