3002561705-2 Apply for this job now Job Description UCHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery Metro Denver Float Pool. In this role, you'll provide advanced, family-centered care to high- and low-risk obstetric patients across multiple UCHealth hospitals in the Denver metro area. Responsibilities include monitoring maternal-fetal status, supporting labor and delivery, circulating for cesarean births, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum patients Monitor maternal and fetal status, including electronic fetal monitoring and vital signs Administer medications, IV therapies, and epidural support per protocol Assist with and circulate for vaginal and cesarean deliveries Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and ancillary staff to coordinate care Educate and support patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery Respond to obstetric emergencies and follow evidence-based protocols Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHRFloat between multiple Metro Denver UCHealth facilities as assigned Precept and mentor newer nurses and support continuous quality improvement Required Skills Labor and delivery nursing Electronic fetal monitoring Maternal-newborn assessment IV therapy and medication administration Cesarean section circulating and recovery Neonatal stabilization and NRP skills Obstetric emergency management (e.g., PPH, preeclampsia) Electronic health record documentation Patient and family education Interdisciplinary team collaboration
