Active Colorado RN license required Key Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care for assigned emergency room patients. Triage patients and determine priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social needs. Perform focused assessments of patient chief complaints according to established triage guidelines. Administer medications and provide treatments according to hospital policies and procedures. Collect blood samples and assist with wound cleaning, dressing, and bandaging. Help move and position patients safely. Maintain appropriate supplies and support efficient patient flow. Apply strong time-management and critical-thinking skills in a high-acuity environment. Provide care within hospital policies, procedures, and the Colorado Nurse Practice Act. Requirements & Certifications Current Colorado RN license required. 2+ years of critical care or emergency nursing experience preferred. Specialty certification preferred. BLS and ACLS required upon hire. TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year. ENPC or PALS required within 6 months ; ENPC preferred. Strong assessment, triage, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills.
