St. Mary's Academy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Substitute School Nurse to support the health and well-being of our students when our full-time nurse is unavailable. As a vital part of our school community, the nurse provides not only medical care but also comfort, reassurance, and a sense of safety to students of all ages. This is an on-call, as-needed position serving our K-12 school.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff;
• Administer medications according to school policies;
• Monitor and manage student health conditions;
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation; and
• Communicate with parents, faculty, and administration regarding student health concerns; Qualifications/

Requirements:

Education and qualifications should include the following:

• LPN or RN license preferred
• Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or a related field preferred
• CPR Training required - or ability to obtain training
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to medical situations
• A sense of resonance with the St.
