Qualifications:

Valid and active RN license required 1 year or more of recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med-Surg) nursing environment Current BLS certification Strong assessment, organizational, and communication abilities Experience working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, patient-centered environment

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe, effective care to a range of diverse Med-Surg patients throughout their hospital admission Complete thorough assessments and document patient status, updating care plans as needed Administer medications and treatments promptly according to established protocols Coordinate with healthcare team members to manage and adjust individualized patient care plans Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up care Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all facility and regulatory procedures Respond quickly and compassionately to patient concerns, changes in status, and emergent situations
