OR Circulate/Scrub RN

OR Circulate/Scrub Registered Nurse (RN) Shift - 4-10 hour day shifts per week with rotating evening/night/weekend call. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated OR Circulate/Scrub Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a fast-paced operating room environment. Your expertise in aseptic technique, patient assessment, and surgical instrumentation will be essential to our mission of delivering high-quality surgical services. Responsibilities Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment, supplies, and sterile instruments are available and functioning properly for each procedure. Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers by passing instruments, suturing, managing specimens, and maintaining a sterile field throughout surgeries. Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition during procedures, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies such as airway management or acute pain episodes. Maintain strict aseptic technique to prevent infection and ensure compliance with infection control protocols. Document all aspects of patient care accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems, including medication administration, procedural notes, and post-operative assessments. Support patient safety by verifying identity, explaining procedures to patients when appropriate, and providing compassionate care before and after surgery. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Experience CO RN License or Compact RN License in good standing. BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association 3 years of experience in related field.
