Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum 2 years of CVOR nursing experience in acute care or hospital settings Current BLS and ACLS certifications Excellent proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures, scrubbing, circulating, and patient care Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to rapidly adapt to new teams and protocols
Responsibilities:
Assist in all aspects of cardiac and vascular surgeries in a high-acuity environment Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and perioperative safety standards Collaborate efficiently with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow surgical nurses Provide comprehensive patient advocacy before, during, and after procedures Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives
