Requirements:

Education :

Bachelor's of Science in

Nursing Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience in clinical practice/information technology preferred

Licenses/Certification :

RN license in the State of Colorado (or compact license)

ACLS, BLS and PALS Required:

Epic ClinDoc, Clinical Informatics or Epic Ambulatory (based on assigned domain)

Preferred:

Epic Orders Preferred:

Epic Stork (Inpatient) or Epic Cadence/Prelude (outpatient)

Epic Certification Expectations:

Epic Certifications Responsibilities:

As part of the team you will: Serve as the primary informatics resource for assigned inpatient or outpatient workflows Independently evaluate and validate clinical needs by engaging frontline staff and leaders Optimize nursing and ancillary workflows to support safe, efficient patient care Provides go-live, upgrade, and stabilization support for assigned clinical areas Develop and maintain user-facing policies, procedures, and tip sheets Proactively identifiy EHR documentation and workflow issues affecting quality and safety Maintain strong relationships with clinical leaders and frontline users Lead redesign of clinical workflows to improve safety, efficiency, throughput, and documentation quality Provide direct physician workflow optimization, including personalization, order sets, and note efficiency Partner with Medical Staff leadership to support adoption and standardization Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Coding, and Billing to optimize documentation for charge capture and reimbursement
