$75 to $100 per day when not called in to work your regular scheduleJOB SUMMARY
We are hiring an Inpatient Unit Resource Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care to patients in TRU's Hospice Inpatient Unit, located on the 4th floor of CommonSpirit Longmont United Hospital. The Resource Nurse provides nursing care in an inpatient hospital environment while supporting patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life. The Resource Nurse serves as an additional nurse on the inpatient unit based on patient census. When the unit census reaches 5 or more patients, the Resource Nurse reports to the unit and receives both the applicable on-call payment and hourly pay for hours worked. When the census is fewer than 5 patients, the Resource Nurse remains on call, receives the applicable on-call payment, and is not required to report to the unit.RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide appropriate nursing care to patients in a hospital/inpatient unit environment Incorporate patient and family preferences, goals, and needs into the plan of care Support and respect each patient's and family's unique diversity, including spiritual and cultural beliefs Provide patient and family education as appropriate, including personal care, medications, procedures, safety, diet and nutrition, disease processes, death, and dying Support a compassionate care environment that promotes patient dignity, comfort, privacy, and quality of lifeQUALIFICATIONS
