Travel/contract assignment May include floating to other departments (as qualified) Potential on-call assignments during shifts
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Active, unencumbered RN license Specialty experience in the Cath Lab, demonstrating advanced cardiovascular nursing care Solid skills in patient assessment, health status evaluation, and independent nursing interventions Familiarity with reviewing, monitoring, and adjusting therapy and treatment plans Strong communication abilities for health teaching and counseling Proficiency with documentation in alignment with hospital and regulatory standards Adaptable and team-oriented—willingness to support care across multiple units, as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Independently assess, plan, and implement patient care for those undergoing cardiovascular procedures Deliver supportive and restorative therapy—directly and through consultation or delegation Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, carrying out delegated medical tasks Educate and counsel patients and families on health status, therapy, and preventive care Refer patients for additional evaluation as warranted Embrace and model hospital values and service standards in all interactions Perform assigned duties with flexibility, professionalism, and compassion
