Job Description

Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Registered Nurse dedicated to supporting student health and wellness for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time contract opportunity, based near Monument, CO, is ideal for professionals who are passionate about advocating for childrens well-being and working collaboratively within a school setting. Your expertise as a School RN will make a meaningful impact as you address both routine and urgent health needs, promote safe practices, and serve as a crucial resource for students, staff, and families.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Prior experience in school health settings preferred Current BLS/CPR certification Strong organizational and time-management abilities Adaptability and a calm, compassionate demeanor under pressure Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and faculty
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students, including medication administration and emergency response Conduct routine health screenings and maintain detailed health records in compliance with school policies Partner with teachers and administrators to address student health concerns and promote safe learning environments Educate students and staff on health issues, wellness practices, and preventative care Participate in developing individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions This role offers approximately 20-25 hours per week during the school year, allowing for a flexible schedule that blends professional fulfillment with work-life balance.
