1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience. Details Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours weekly) May be required to float to other departments based on business need within scope of competency and qualifications May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift Uses Epic for clinical documentation Requirements Active RN license in Colorado (Standard or Compact) required, no pending license accepted Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit required Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required ASN required, BSN preferred Epic charting experience preferred DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with accepted practice standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care Perform health teaching, counseling, and ongoing evaluation of patient health status Provide supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly to patients or through consultation, delegation, or supervision Review and monitor treatment plans and refer patients for further evaluation as needed Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for this travel assignment
