1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring AWHONN Intermediate certification and a compact RN license. Details Work in a fast-paced, high-volume Women's and Infants Labor & Delivery unit averaging 150 births per month Unit has 14 total staffed beds with a 1:2 patient ratio Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:15am to 6:45pm Weekend shifts required per unit needs On-call responsibilities required per unit needs Uses Epic charting system Responsibilities include circulating in the OR, placing internal monitors, OB triage, and managing laboring and high-risk OB patients Navy scrub color required Requirements Active RN license (Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (required, not Advanced) Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required Epic charting experience required Experience managing laboring and high-risk OB patients required OB triage experience required Experience circulating in the OR and placing internal monitors required Additional Information Care for a patient population including high-risk antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum cases Duties may include assisting with high-risk and vaginal deliveries, C-section circulation and recovery, and management of obstetric emergencies such as hemorrhage/shock First-time travelers are accepted as long as experience requirements are met Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates must disclose this information for eligibility review Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract RTO is not allowed during specified blackout periods throughout the assignment No blocked scheduling requests permitted Completion of all facility-specific onboarding modules required within the first week of assignment Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted
