Job Description

Overall goal: Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of different types of goods from warehouse to warehouse and warehouse to the customer location and visa-versa.
Role Objectives:
Safely and efficiently transport goods. To execute the company policy To ensure full compliance with legal OSHA and ISO requirements When not transporting product's, you will be helping in the yard with TEQ. Duties and responsibilities Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle. Pickup and safely transport goods to the intended destination. Assist with loading and unloading goods, strapping, etc. Ensure contents are properly secured to prevent damage/injury. Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries. Communicate with the office and/or warehouse as needed. Confirm that the contents of each shipment load match the manifest document. Perform inspections of your vehicle at the beginning and end of each shift and report any problems or damage to management. Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean. Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs. Adhere to company safety rules, regulations guidelines, policies, and sitespecific safety plans; comply with DOT regulations. Environmental, Health & Safety Wear required Personal Protective Equipment [PPE] Participate in company sponsored safety training Follow safe work practices Report unsafe/hazardous conditions Comply with the company's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality [HSEQ] Policy, E002 General Work on continuous improvement of all facets under your responsibility and document results Selfdevelopment Any other duties for which you are deemed capable of by senior management.
Requirements:
Current CDL A license Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules & regulations Adaptability & foresight to handle unexpected situations [traffic, weather conditions, etc.] Forklift experience. Willing to submit to drug checks. Must complete a successful background screen. Willing & able to work in a teambased environment.
