3x12 Nights Are you a dedicated Labor & Delivery nurse looking for your next adventure? Do you thrive in a setting where you can make a difference in the lives of mothers and their newborns? Join our healthcare partner in beautiful Salida, CO, where your skills and compassion will be valued and appreciated. As a Registered Nurse(RN) in the Family Birthing Center, you will play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating the health status of both laboring mothers and neonates. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to set and achieve realistic health goals. Your expertise will ensure safe and effective care throughout the birthing process, and you will act as a patient advocate to promote wellness and education. Provide direct patient care and monitor responses during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases Promote wellness and educate mothers on infant care and breastfeeding Document all events and education in medical records Communicate patient conditions to physicians and nursing supervisors Collaborate with nursery nurses and assist physicians with procedures Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment in the FBC unit Assist staff with emergencies and support skill development Need 2 years experience in setting Maintain current, active RN license in Colorado

BLS & NRP
