Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Active RN license in Colorado (or eligible to obtain) Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred Comfortable working autonomously while making critical decisions regarding student health Strong assessment and organizational skills Ability to educate students and staff on health and wellness matters CPR/BLS certification required Exceptional communication skills for interactions with students, families, and school staff

Role Responsibilities:

Address the daily health care needs of students, including medication administration, emergency care, and chronic condition management Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations Develop care plans and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student health Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed Assist with health screenings and immunization compliance Advise on infection prevention and overall health promotion within the school setting Imagine yourself making a difference daily by ensuring a healthy, nurturing environment for students and staff.
