This full-time contract role follows the standard school calendar, with an extension through ESY (summer school) and a strong possibility of renewal for the following year. Your primary focus will be on providing individualized medical care for a first-grade student within a small, specialized classroom setting. In those times when direct medical intervention isn't needed, you'll contribute to classroom activities alongside experienced special education staff, helping create a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in Connecticut Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric care highly preferred Ability to respond effectively and efficiently to students medical needs Strong communication skills with children and educational staff Compassionate, patient demeanor and collaborative mindset

Primary Responsibilities:
