Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Facilities Technician to our team. Reporting to the Facilities Manager the Facilities Technician will be in charge of repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance on building and facilities equipment, fixtures and systems. What a typical day looks like Respond to facility service calls and perform in-house repairs to maintain building operations and equipment uptime. Troubleshoot facility systems and equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and complete corrective maintenance activities. Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems to ensure reliable operation. Install, repair, and maintain office fixtures, facility equipment, and infrastructure while following established safety and maintenance procedures. Test, calibrate, align, and adjust equipment and instruments according to specifications and operational requirements. Support facility operations by moving furniture, materials, and equipment as needed and assisting with equipment breakdowns for cleaning and maintenance. Maintain the functionality of plumbing, sewer, water, electrical, and mechanical systems while supporting emergency backup systems and documenting repairs, tests, and maintenance activities. The experience we're looking to add to our team: Typically requires an Associates degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, building maintenance, or a related skilled trade environment. Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, electronic, and plumbing systems in a manufacturing or commercial facility. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, safety procedures, and technical documentation. Proficiency using maintenance tools, precision measuring instruments, power tools, alignment tools, and diagnostic equipment.
