This position follows the regular school year calendar, with an extension through summer school, and offers a strong possibility of renewal. You'll be an essential part of a collaborative team, working alongside a special education teacher and support staff, with your primary responsibility centered on medical oversight and direct student interaction. Key Qualifications:

Current RN (Registered Nurse) license in the state Experience in pediatric or school nursing environments Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Comfortable working within special education and multidisciplinary teams CPR/BLS certification required

Core Responsibilities:

Provide medical oversight and rapid response for a designated grade 1 student as needed Administer ongoing assessments and health-related interventions according to the students care plan Document health services and communicate medical information with educational staff and guardians Engage with the student during classroom activities and provide general support in the absence of nursing interventions Collaborate closely with the special education team and contribute to the inclusive classroom atmosphere This contract offers a competitive pay range of $40$43 per hour.
