AM Experience:

2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months. 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years). Travel experience is required. Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission). This role may require floating to additional units and locations Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Special Requests:

• RTO is not approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.

Unit Details:

• Patient ratios are 1:3-4 on days and 1:7-8 on nights.
• Telemetry is not used on the unit.
• CPAP is used at bedtime only.
• Patients have general medical diagnoses.
• A hospitalist is in-house 24/7.
• IV team support is available from 7 AM to 8:30 PM; a nurse resource is available 24/7 for IV help from 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Nurses perform all respiratory treatments, with respiratory therapy available 24/7.
• Pharmacy support is available 24/7.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Must be willing to work 48 hours per week.
• Shift may be 8s or 12s.
• Every other weekend is required; the entire weekend, including Sunday, must be worked.
• Holiday rotation is every other holiday.

14 days maximum time off.

14 days 1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months Driver's license required for submission
