9659711-06053 Job Description Step into an engaging contract role supporting a kindergarten student as a 1:1 RN, located close to New Britain, CT. This full-time opportunity runs from 9:00 AM to 3:35 PM, starting as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year in June. Your specialized care and calm presence will be central to creating a safe, nurturing environment that empowers this young learner to thrive.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut Experience in pediatric, school, or 1:1 nursing preferred Current CPR and First Aid certifications required Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Ability to respond promptly and confidently in medical situations Compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working independently with young children

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct, one-on-one nursing care to a kindergarten student, including medication administration, health monitoring, and medical interventions as needed Maintain clear and organized health documentation according to school policies Communicate daily health updates and coordinate with school staff and parents Support student participation in classroom and school activities while ensuring safety and well-being Implement and monitor individualized healthcare plans, adapting to any changes in student health needs
