Rapid start available AMX Healthcare is hiring experienced and dependable Registered Nurses for 13-week contract opportunities at a respected nursing and long-term care facility in Simsbury, Connecticut. Both day and overnight schedules are available. This opportunity offers competitive pay, a consistent three-day workweek, and dependable full-time hours in a supportive resident-care environment.

Available Schedules Day shift:

7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

Overnight shift:

7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. Three 12-hour shifts per week Approximately 36 scheduled hours per week Every-other-weekend availability required Responsibilities Conduct nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders. Develop, review, and update individualized nursing care plans. Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and clinical concerns. Coordinate care with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams. Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other direct-care staff as assigned. Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and hospital returns. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Provide detailed shift reports to ensure continuity of care. Follow infection-control, medication-management, safety, and facility procedures. Deliver respectful, compassionate, and resident-centered care. Requirements Active RN license valid for practice in Connecticut. Previous skilled-nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred. Current CPR or BLS certification. Current physical and tuberculosis screening. Strong assessment, medication-administration, communication, and documentation skills. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work three 12-hour shifts per week and every other weekend. Ability to complete onboarding and compliance requirements promptly. What We Offer $56.00 per hour. Weekly direct deposit.
