Duties:

• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including obtaining vital signs and medical history
• Assist the physician during procedures by assisting with instruments, monitoring patients, and collection and documentation of specimens
• Administer medications as directed by the physician
• Perform patient assessments before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or complications
• Document all patient care accurately and timely
• Provide patient education regarding pre and post-procedure care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes ```

Qualifications:

```

• Valid RN license in CT
• Experience in an Endoscopy setting preferred but not required
• Proficient in medical terminology and knowledge of endoscopic procedures preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Pre-operative and PACU experience preferred but not required
