Job Description
The Nurse Network is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Registered Nurse to provide one to one nursing care for a student in the Thompson, Connecticut area. This position is a per diem substitute opportunity providing coverage as needed, with the potential to transition into an ongoing school year assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy working with children and are looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful difference in a student's daily life. Schedule Per diem On call coverage as needed School day hours Potential for an ongoing assignment during the school year What We Offer Competitive pay of $58.00 per hour Same day pay opportunities Flexible per diem scheduling Supportive clinical and recruiting team Student specific orientation and training Opportunities for additional school based and healthcare assignments through The Nurse Network Responsibilities Provide one to one skilled nursing care for a student throughout the school day. Monitor the student's condition and respond appropriately according to the individualized plan of care. Perform tracheostomy care and administer G tube feedings as needed. Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive environment for the student. Communicate effectively with school personnel, family members, and healthcare providers. Maintain accurate documentation and follow physician orders and nursing standards.
