Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate and culturally competent patient care, ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusivity in all aspects of nursing practice. RNs assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer treatments, and educate patients and support persons. They work collaboratively with healthcare teams to promote patient well-being and optimal recovery.
Qualifications:
RN Diploma or ASN required BSN or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field preferred Current CT RN license required Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
WORK SCHEDULE
24 hours, nights (11:15p-7:15 am), including rotating weekends and holidays Gaylord nursing units offer a variety of skills such as:
Milne Units:
Step down/progressive care unit of level of care includes: Continuous telemetry monitoring Ventilator support and weaning LVAD patient population Heart Transplant population Lyman 1 & Hooker 1: Medical Units offer skills such as: Stroke Complex wounds Telemetry Pulmonary care Lyman 2 & Hooker 2: Specialty Units are CARF Accredited with a focused patient population: Traumatic Brain Injury Stroke Spinal cord Injury
