Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Auto Tech / Emissions Tester, where you will play a vital role in ensuring vehicles meet safety and environmental standards while delivering exceptional service to our customers. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle systems, perform inspections, and contribute to the smooth operation of our automotive service center. Your mechanical expertise and passion for automotive repair will help keep vehicles running efficiently and safely on the road. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, including emissions testing, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and vehicle diagnostics using hand tools and power tools Utilize automotive parts and accessories knowledge to identify needed repairs or replacements and recommend appropriate solutions to customers Assist with auto estimating by assessing vehicle damage or repair needs accurately for service planning Execute automotive tire changes safely and efficiently, ensuring proper installation and balancing Support vehicle maintenance tasks involving heavy lifting, mechanical systems repair, and auto restoration projects as required Experience Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance, repair. Familiarity with automotive parts, accessories and vehicle inspections processes Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively in a fast-paced environment Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions throughout the workday This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about automotive technology who thrive on problem-solving and delivering top-quality service.
