Key Experience and Qualifications:

Active RN license in Connecticut Previous experience as an RN in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Current CPR/BLS certification Exceptional communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation abilities Compassionate, collaborative, and adaptable attitude

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive 1:1 nursing care for a kindergarten student during school hours Administer medications, monitor health needs, and respond promptly to emergencies Implement the students health care plan in collaboration with school staff and family Maintain accurate, up-to-date health records and documentation Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for the student Communicate health updates and concerns with families and relevant school personnel Adhere to professional and ethical nursing standards at all times This role is based on a consistent MondayFriday schedule, 9:00 AM to 3:35 PM, and extends from an immediate start through the end of the academic year in June.
