This contract opportunity is perfect for a Registered Nurse who thrives in a one-on-one setting and enjoys supporting students with specialized needs. In this role, youll accompany a student to a private school that does not have an on-site nurse. Your expertise and caring presence will ensure the students health and well-being throughout the school day. The assignment is expected to last approximately 8 weeks, with work hours from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Fridayideal for those seeking consistent daytime hours.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN license required Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare settings preferred Skilled in caring for students with complex medical needs, including g-tube management and pump operation Knowledge of cerebral palsy and best practices for assisting students with mobility and medical equipment Ability to build a rapport with children and maintain clear, compassionate communication with school staff and families Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safety

Key Responsibilities:

Provide daily 1:1 nursing care for a student with cerebral palsy, including g-tube feeding and other health-related needs Monitor and document the students condition and communicate any changes promptly Support daily transitions and activities within the school environment Administer medications, respond to emergencies, and implement individualized healthcare plans Collaborate with educators and the students family to promote a positive, inclusive school experience Seize the opportunity to deliver essential nursing care during the school day while making a unique impact.
