Qualifications:

Current, active RN license with no restrictions Demonstrated experience as a CVOR nurse required BLS and ACLS certifications (must be maintained throughout the contract) Minimum two years of recent CVOR nursing experience (travel experience strongly preferred) Strong ability to assess and respond to patient needs in dynamic and high-pressure scenarios Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide critical nursing care throughout all phases of open-heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures Ensure all preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative protocols are followed for optimal patient safety and positive surgical outcomes Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other OR team members Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to changes in condition Accurately document procedures, assessments, interventions, and patient progress Advocate for patient safety and comfort at every step
