What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description

- At BayCare, we are proud to be one of the largest employers in the Tampa Bay area. Our network consists of 16 community-based hospitals. The Staffing Resource Office (SRO) offers 13-26-week seasonal assignments SRO Seasonal Pool team members work November - March to cover seasonal volume.
- Eligibility:
- Seasonal Pool requires a team member's residency to be outside the state of Florida or outside certain prohibited Florida counties. Eligibility criteria are re-evaluated every six months. Eligibility documents must be produced and validated every year.
- Requirements:
- + RN (Registered Nurse) License + Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing + 2-years' RN current experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting + BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association + ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
