A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team.
Davenport Ambulatory Surgery Center provides:
Ophthalmology Cosmetic General Surgery Reconstructive Orthopedics Podiatry Gynecology Urology Otolaryngology/ENT Pain Management services.
Required Skills:
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Current Florida Nursing License Current CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred CNOR preferred Strong operating room nurse experience required Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians, vendors, and the public. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptivity to change, creativity, and innovation. Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgical procedures Perform excellent management of the operative patient Understands principles of aseptic technique with implementation Ability to care for patients from pediatric to geriatrics Excellent standing with the Florida Board of Nursing Willingness to perform necessary downtime work Willingness to learn new tasks
