Job Description

Caring Nurses Home Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time, primarily office-based position. This is an excellent opportunity for a retired or semi-retired RN who would like to remain involved in healthcare without returning to full-time or bedside nursing. Retired and semi-retired nurses are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a team-oriented position. You will not be expected to manage all staffing, HR, credentialing, and office responsibilities alone. The owner is actively involved in the business, and additional office/staffing support will be added as the company grows. We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a small, growing team and helping us build strong office systems together. Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily caregiver and nurse staffing and scheduling
  • Recruit and assist with onboarding RNs, LPNs, CNAs and HHAs
  • Maintain caregiver personnel files and credentialing records
  • Track licenses, background screenings, training and expiring credentials
  • Follow up with caregivers regarding missing documentation
  • Communicate with clients, caregivers and physician offices
  • Assist with RN documentation and care coordination
  • Prepare appropriate nursing documentation and physician paperwork
  • Send documentation to physician offices and follow up for signatures/orders when needed
  • Assist with telephone follow-up with clients and caregivers
  • Answer office calls and assist with day-to-day office operations
  • Help keep records organized and survey-ready Qualifications
  • Current Florida RN license
  • Previous home health, nurse registry, healthcare staffing or medical office experience is preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable with computers, email and electronic records
  • Able to work independently
  • Dependable, personable and detail-oriented Schedule
    Monday-Friday, approximately 9:00 AM-3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.

Pay

$24.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience Benefits

Paid time off — up to 5 days accrued annually This is primarily an office position and does not involve routine bedside nursing or field visits. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, retired, or semi-retired RN who would like to stay involved in healthcare in a comfortable, part-time office setting. You'll work alongside the owner and be part of a growing team — you will not be expected to manage the office alone. As our business grows, additional staffing and office support will be added. We're looking for someone dependable, organized, and personable who would enjoy becoming a long-term part of our team.

Pay:

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 27.5 per week
