You will collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure each youth receives individualized, holistic care that promotes both physical and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications and ensure accurate documentation Triage illness and injuries each shift, determine medical priority, and treat within scope of practice Monitor and document vital signs, medical progress, and health outcomes Conduct required health screenings and maintain immunization compliance Educate youth and staff on health topics, including universal precautions and communicable disease prevention Provide or coordinate CPR, first aid, and other medical training for staff as required Maintain controlled drug records and complete shift-to-shift medication counts Monitor and replenish health/first aid supplies, including AED and emergency kits Participate in treatment team meetings to support interdisciplinary care planning Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state healthcare regulations Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Florida At least 2 years of professional nursing experience CPR certification Ability to pass background check and drug screening
