- Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RNs)

- . This role offers the chance to provide compassionate, high-quality care while working with residents in a supportive team environment.
- Position Overview
- The Psychiatric RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, assessments, medication administration, patient monitoring, and care coordination for residents with varying physical and developmental disabilities. Nurses will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident health, safety, and well-being.
- What You'll Do
- + Provide psychiatric and nursing care to residents + Administer medications and complete medication passes + Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately + Complete incident reports as needed + Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) + Float between homes on campus as needed + Utilize paper charting for documentation
- Facility Highlights
- + Primary assignment to one home with occasional coverage of 2-3 homes + Approximately 8-14 residents per home + Strong team support with
RN/LPN/DSP
staffing on each shift + Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of adults with developmental and physical disabilities + Some homes may require experience with- G-Tubes and Trach patients
- (no ventilators)
- Requirements
- ? Current Florida RN License ? Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred ? Psychiatric nursing experience preferred ? Current CPR Certification (if applicable) ? Ability to work with residents who may be non-verbal or have mobility limitations ? Comfortable with paper charting and incident reporting ? Must meet all state, federal, and facility requirements
