About the
Role:
Our Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) facility is seeking compassionate and dedicated RN to join our team. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care for children with medically complex conditions in a supportive and collaborative environment, ensuring their health and well-being while working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.
What You'll Do:
Provide feeding (via oral, tube feeding, etc.), and mobility support. Administer medications safely and monitor their effects. Assist in the development of social skills and daily living activities. Observe and document patient conditions, manage vital signs, and address any changes in health status. Maintain up-to-date, accurate records on all patient interactions and treatments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Offer physical and emotional support to patients and their families, creating a welcoming environment. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in critical care transport as needed for pediatric patients requiring specialized attention.
What We Are Looking For:
To ensure the best quality care, candidates must have experience in a pediatric setting, preferably with medically complex patients.
Specific skills required include:
