Job Description

Join HCA Healthcare as a New Graduate Registered Nurse and begin your nursing career in a supportive, learning-focused environment. In this role, you'll provide direct bedside care, perform assessments, administer medications, and support patients and families through treatment and recovery. Under guidance of experienced preceptors, you'll build critical clinical and critical-thinking skills, use advanced EMR and monitoring tools, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate bedside nursing care to diverse patient populations. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings in the EMR. Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor for responses or adverse effects. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to execute care plans. Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions. Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention, safety, and quality standards. Use monitoring equipment and technology to track and report patient status. Participate in nursing residency, orientation, and ongoing educational activities. Recognize and escalate changes in patient condition using appropriate protocols. Contribute to a culture of compassion, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
