Case-by-case basis Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or recognized Multi-State Compact license Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required 1+ year of Acute Care ER RN experience required Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 30 days of hire Strong clinical assessment, triage, patient advocacy, and emergency intervention skills Responsibilities Coordinate and deliver direct, patient-centered emergency nursing care utilizing evidence-based clinical models (Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage) Conduct rapid triage and regular pain assessments, administering appropriate interventions and ongoing reassessments Execute clinical procedures, emergency medications, and diagnostic monitoring per physician orders Document all care assessments, interventions, and clinical responses promptly and thoroughly in the electronic medical record Provide thorough, compassionate patient and family education regarding medical diagnoses, acute treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions Educate patients and caregivers on post-discharge management, including lifestyle modifications and follow-up care Collaborate seamlessly with emergency physicians, mid-level providers, and cross-functional hospital teams to optimize departmental throughput and clinical outcomes

140+ Beds (Accredited Primary Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, Disease-Specific Certification in Sepsis)

24-hour full-service
