Job Summary:
Provides routine and repetitive patient care. Maintains standards of nursing care, under the supervision of licensed Nursing personnel, in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of the Nursing Department.Essential Job Functions:
Provides plan care for all resident attending to Administer and document medications and treatments Collect date (e.g., vital signs, resident's complaints, symptoms, etc.) Documents the patient care activities performed on the unit Must document changes and follow up on condition Supervise certified nursing assistants with appropriate supervisory training Organizes, cleans and maintains the patient/resident units Ensures that resident's/patient's rights are adhered to Participates in departmental activities and follows established guidelines Perform clerical functions for the nursing unit Performs related duties as requiredQualifications:
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN License to practice nursing in the State of Florida Two years' experiences in a health care or related setting preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Sensitivity in working with diverse cultural groups. Ability to present ideas and recommendations clearly and concisely in writing and orally with a proven ability to problem solve and solution oriented. Possess a strong ability to work independently and as a team member with fellow co-workers, supervisors and other staff. Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule and job assignments. Must be qualified in Basic Life Support techniques Familiarity with medical software and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentJob Types:
